Assistant to the Works Council / Administrative Assistant (m/f/d)
Job Summary
This role is responsible for office and administrative duties and supports processes and projects administrative for the German works council.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Management of the works council calendar, including scheduling, coordination, and monitoring of appointments

Responsibility for administrative tasks, particularly correspondence and data maintenance

Planning, organizing, and supporting events such as works meetings, including preparation, follow-up and minute-taking

Preparation of decision papers and presentations

Independent planning and booking of business travel for works council members, including travel expense accounting

Supporting the works council in internal communication and public relations activities

Coordinating and maintaining collaboration with trade unions and external bodies such as public authorities
Education
- Successfully completed commercial vocational training or equivalent qualification / working experience
Work Experience
-
First experience in office administration and coordination (one to three years)

Ideally, experience in an international manufacturing environment
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Good knowledge of MS Office

Familiarity with industrial constitution law

Strong organizational and coordination skills

Structured, detail-oriented, and independent way of working

High degree of customer and service orientation

Excellent communication and advisory skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Very good command of German and good command of English (spoken and written)
Physical Requirements
Light-Exerting up to 20lbs/9kg of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force frequently constantly to move objects.Pay Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is €31,460.00 - €39,998.00. Total target compensation is determined using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, market benchmarks, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the role. This position may be eligible for variable compensation and other incentive programs in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans within the country of employment. In addition, team members are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits and total rewards programs applicable to their location and employment status.
