As a Data Scientist at HARTING, you will develop and deploy advanced AI and machine learning models, automate processes, and generate predictive insights — positioning HARTING as a forward-thinking, innovative technology partner on a global scale. Job Responsibilities Develop, deploy, and maintain forecasting, predictive, and classification models on Databricks and Microsoft AzureIntegrate diverse data sources, including SAP BDC and certified Gold layer tables, as model inputsPublish model outputs and insights for Business Intelligence consumptionPrototype and implement Generative AI solutions for business applicationsIntegrate APIs for real-time data enrichment and external data connectivityMaintain and operate MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to expose enterprise data for AI solutionsAutomate and optimize business processes using Python, ML frameworks, and workflow orchestration toolsCollaborate with Data Engineering and BI teams to ensure data quality, governance, and compliance Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, and AI in cloud-based environmentsStrong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)Hands‑on experience with Databricks and Microsoft AzureFamiliarity with LLMs, Generative AI, and API integrationFluent in English (C1 level); additional languages are a plus Preferred Certifications Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate (DP-100)Databricks Certified Machine Learning ProfessionalAWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty (or equivalent cloud ML certification)TensorFlow Developer CertificateCertification in Data Governance or MLOps practices Competencies Analytical Thinking — Breaks down complex problems into structured, actionable solutionsInnovation Mindset — Proactively explores emerging AI technologies and applies them to business needsCollaboration — Works effectively across cross-functional and international teamsCommunication — Translates technical concepts clearly for non‑technical stakeholdersOwnership — Takes end‑to‑end responsibility for model development, deployment, and performanceAdaptability — Thrives in a fast‑paced, evolving data and technology landscape Why Join Us?
