Senior Robotics Perception Engineer Multi-Object Tracking
Salary: 40.000 - 80.000 per year
Requirements:
- Strong C++ and Python development skills
- Extensive experience with ROS/ROS2
- Strong background in robotics perception, computer vision, and state estimation
- Proven experience developing and deploying production-grade robotics software
- Excellent mathematical foundations in estimation, optimization, and probabilistic methods
- Proven ability to independently drive complex technical workstreams
- Experience deploying and debugging software on real robotic platforms
- Ability to influence technical decisions and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- Fluent English
- Advantages include experience with Multi-Object Tracking, sensor fusion, Visual SLAM, Visual-Inertial Odometry, Kalman filters, GTSAM, Ceres or similar optimization frameworks, camera geometry and multi-camera systems, OpenCV, embedded GPU deployment (Jetson), CUDA/TensorRT, Docker, CI/CD, and Linux
- Nice to have: PhD in Robotics, Computer Vision, State Estimation, or a related field; experience with autonomous or defense systems, synthetic data generation, distributed robotic systems, or deploying perception algorithms in challenging outdoor environments

Responsibilities:
- Drive the technical direction of our Multi-Object Tracking and perception capabilities
- Design, develop, and optimize robust multi-object tracking pipelines for dynamic environments
- Define scalable architectures for state estimation and multi-sensor fusion systems
- Develop probabilistic estimation and optimization algorithms for real-world robotics applications
- Own the development of intrinsic and extrinsic calibration pipelines for complex sensor configurations, including zooming camera systems
- Evaluate and introduce algorithms, tools, and technologies to improve tracking performance and robustness
- Work with autonomy, controls, and middleware teams to integrate systems end to end
- Mentor and support engineers through technical discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews
- Develop and validate perception algorithms in simulation before deployment on embedded robotic platforms
- Optimize algorithms for real-time execution on embedded GPU platforms
- Lead debugging and validation during field testing, analyze failures, and improve system robustness
