Hauptaufgaben
Leads and coordinates cost accounting operations across multiple USAG Bavaria locations, providing technical guidance, workload management, quality assurance, and training for accounting personnel.
Administers and monitors GFEBS user access, security roles, compliance requirements, and approval processes to ensure adherence to Army regulations and internal control standards.
Manages labor and equipment cost accounting activities, maintains complex financial master data, validates financial information, and ensures data integrity within GFEBS.
Develops and utilizes SQL-based analytical tools, automated reporting solutions, and performance dashboards to support operational analysis, productivity measurement, and management decision-making.
Prepares and coordinates the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) Resource Management Plan (RMP) and Annual Work Plan (AWP), supporting resource requirements exceeding $200 million.
Analyzes workforce productivity, shop performance, and operational efficiency, recommending process improvements and conducting industrial engineering studies to optimize organizational effectiveness.
Performs statistical analyses of workload, backlog, cost, and performance trends and prepares executive briefings, reports, charts, and presentations for senior leadership.
Collaborates with engineering, maintenance, environmental, housing, and business management stakeholders to support strategic planning, resource allocation, and continuous process improvement.
Qualifikationsanforderungen
C-06:
MINIMUM Hauptschulabschlus or Realschulaschluss PLUS 1 year of general experience PLUS 3 years job-related experience.
General experience includes simple clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging events, cashier work, and similar work.
Job-related experience is any work experience that provided knowledge of procurement activities, supply depot operations, logistics-operations command and support activities, and basic administration. Creditable experience could have been gained in reconciling fund-status reports and analyzing obligation practices. Total experience must demonstrate thorough familiarity with accounting methods, procedures, and techniques to ensure proper treatment of reimbursement transactions and open, customer-funded supply and equipment obligations
• Applicants must be in possession of a German driver's license class B and must be able to obtain and maintain a military driver's license.
• Office automation skills are required.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY LEVEL:
English Language Proficiency level B2 AND German Language Proficiency level C1 required.
