Job Description

CompanyDescription
Here at Volocopter,we are the pioneers of electric air taxis (electric vertical takeoff andlanding aircraft - eVTOLs). We have pledged to bring sustainable urban airmobility to life by getting electric air taxis off the ground in a way thatcomplements existing transportation options in megacities across the globe. In2011 we carried out the first-ever crewed flight of a fully electricmulticopter and have since conducted more than 2,000 public and private testflights across the world (www.volocopter.com).

Your mission during this flight:
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Electrical Design Engineer – Power Distribution & LV Systems to join our Propulsion Team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the electrical design, development, verification, and release of aircraft power distribution and low-voltage electrical systems for Volocopter's eVTOL aircraft. You will own the electrical design of key propulsion electrical hardware, including the Power Distribution Unit (PDU), Low Voltage Power System, and associated DC/DC conversion, protection, monitoring, and control circuits.
Working closely with System Architects, Safety Engineers, Mechanical Design Engineers, Software Engineers, Test Engineers, Certification Specialists, and suppliers, you will develop robust and certifiable electrical solutions that meet performance, safety, and certification requirements.
This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys creating hardware designs from concept through certification and aircraft integration.
