IT System Administrator (m/f/d)

At our location in Dillingen/Saar (Germany) or Regau (Upper Austria), we are offering a career opportunity as an IT System Administrator (m/f/d) to a competent, team-oriented, and performance-driven individual:

Responsibilities

• Administration, monitoring and continuous development of the IT infrastructure, including Microsoft Windows systems and services, Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP and Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
• Administration of central IT systems and security solutions within the AMT Group, including FortiGate firewalls, Exchange Online and VMware virtualization solutions
• IT security and vulnerability management, particularly the assessment of current security alerts as well as the planning and implementation of appropriate measures
• Monitoring and troubleshooting, particularly the administration and continuous development of Linux-based monitoring and security systems
• Administration of the network and telecommunications infrastructure, including the installation, configuration and administration of Cisco systems
• IT support and user assistance at our locations in Germany and Austria

Requirements

• Completed training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or a comparable qualification
• Independent and structured way of working, combined with the ability to familiarize yourself with new subject areas and technologies on your own initiative
• Several years of professional experience in system administration as well as sound knowledge of client and server operations
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage
• High level of commitment and flexibility
