For our client, ArianeGroup—a leading European provider of space and defense technology—we are seeking a dedicated Procurement Quality Manager (m/f/d) to join the team in Taufkirchen at the earliest possible date.

This position is to be filled on a temporary staffing basis for the period from January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2027.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the highest quality standards within the supply chain of one of Europe's most exciting technology sectors.

Working at the interface between suppliers, engineering, production, and product management, you will make a direct contribution to the success of innovative space and aerospace programs.

Establishing and developing sustainable supplier relationships
Ensuring and continuously improving quality levels throughout the supply chain
Developing and implementing preventive quality measures
Managing and tracking corrective actions for quality deviations
Conducting supplier evaluations and approvals
Coordinating and negotiating quality assurance agreements
Defining and optimizing incoming goods inspections
Conducting component acceptance inspections directly at supplier sites
Supporting suppliers in obtaining and securing delegated product acceptance authority
Collaborating with product management, engineering, and specialists in special processes
Acting as the quality interface between suppliers and internal departments

Your Profile

Successfully completed degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable qualification
Initial or extensive professional experience in quality management, a production environment, or the aerospace industry
Experience in metal processing is an advantage
Knowledge of SAP (MM/PP, QM module) and Siemens Teamcenter
Business-fluent German skills
Very good German and good English skills
French skills are an advantage
Strong communication and organizational skills
High sense of responsibility and a structured way of working
Willingness to travel for supplier management (approx. 10–20%)
