Summary

We are looking for a proven product marketer with a track record of successfully identifying ideal customer profiles and key verticals, and a clear understanding of how to properly position a solution for these customers. The ideal candidate knows how to target and ultimately reach these customers through promotion, list creation, and by aligning with their Sales and Marketing teams to drive pipeline and increase revenue.

The right candidate will possess a blend of strategic vision and hands-on execution, with a track record of delivering measurable results in a fast-paced environment, leveraging expertise across many areas of the Product and Marketing domains; market research and strategy, value proposition and messaging, an understanding of B2B selling, paid media, content, SEO, events, data analytics and ROI analysis.

This position is based in Munich, Germany (remote) and will work closely with the Sales Leader and other team members focused solely on developing and growing Germany.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overview : Determine who should be targeted, refine messaging on why we are uniquely positioned to bring value and solve ideal customer profile problems, and then how to approach them.
  • Strategy Development : Design and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies that align with region-specific business objectives. Explore ways to drive customer engagement, create key messaging and value propositions, act as a key member of the team and assist the sales organization by focusing on ways to increase revenue and market awareness.
  • Content Strategy : Own region-specific content creation and collaborate with the local team as well as the Content & Creative team (based in Austin, TX) on the creation and distribution of high-quality content that resonates with target audiences, including white papers, case studies, blog posts, and videos, to establish thought leadership and support growth marketing efforts and lead generation.
  • Performance Analysis : Utilize data analytics to measure revenue growth and pipeline generation within Germany and associated regions.
  • Market Research : Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, competitive intelligence, and by ensuring our marketing initiatives are innovative and effective. Present findings and recommendations to Sales and Product Marketing leadership.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business goals and to drive target customers, key messaging, and pipeline and revenue growth. Facilitate regular updates to review performance and discuss new initiatives.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Revenue Growth Rate : Measure the overall increase in revenue attributable to product marketing efforts over time, highlighting the direct impact of campaigns and content on the company's financial performance.
  • Revenue Alignment : Track the pipeline and revenue generated (Monthly) that is tied to key verticals and target customers as a proportion of total pipeline and revenue generated for the entire region
  • Channel Growth Rate : Track the quantity of active resellers within a region, associated ARR, and growth rates over time.
  • Lead Conversion Rate : Track the percentage of leads that convert into paying customers, assessing the effectiveness of the sales funnel and marketing strategies.
  • Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) : Monitor the quantity and quality of leads generated that meet defined marketing criteria and are likely to convert to sales.
  • Return on Investment (ROI) : Evaluate the return generated from marketing investments to ensure efficient use of resources and budget.
  • Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing, product marketing, sales and / or product management, with a focus on GTM strategies and execution, preferably in technology, physical security, or SaaS industries.
  • Must be fluent in both English and German.
  • Proven experience in driving GTM strategies as an individual contributor or in leading a team.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools, as well as traditional marketing methods and content creation.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • A self-starter with a proactive attitude and a passion for driving growth.
  • Proven team player with a focus on collaboration.
  • Creative problem solver and strategic thinker who brings passion, enthusiasm, and fresh ideas.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once, set priorities, work proactively and independently, problem solve, improvise and function as part of a team that must perform well under pressure.
  • Must have a "get it done" attitude and execute effectively, attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of a partner relationship manager (PRM), Zoho, Google Suite, Excel, Hubspot, Monday.com, Lusha or similar tools preferred.
  • Working knowledge of content creation tools like Figma, Canva, or similar.
  • Open to travel as needed to support and execute on events.
  • Security industry experience is a plus.
