Systems Administrator

Why we are hiring
Most of our team works from home, so their laptops, accounts and business applications have to work wherever they are. As Systems Administrator you will run Microsoft 365, our servers and devices, and handle second-level support. The position is full-time and remote from anywhere in Germany. You will work with our IT support specialist and cloud engineer, and report to our head of technology.
A typical week

• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune
• Set up laptops for new employees and manage devices remotely
• Manage user accounts, licenses and permissions
• Maintain Windows and Linux servers, backups and patching
• Configure VPN, firewall rules and multi-factor authentication
• Solve second-level support tickets
• Document systems and keep the hardware and license inventory current

What you need

• 3 or more years as a system administrator
• Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration.
• Windows Server and basic Linux administration
• Networking basics: DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls

also useful

• Intune or another device management tool
• PowerShell scripting
• Vocational training as Fachinformatiker or a degree in IT
