Senior DevOps Engineer

The role
Our analytics tools, client data rooms and internal applications all run on one cloud platform, looked after by a small engineering team. Wert Group is adding a Senior DevOps Engineer to run and improve it. The position is full-time and remote from anywhere in Germany.

Key responsibilities

1. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for our internal applications
2. Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS with Terraform
3. Run containerized services on Kubernetes
4. Set up monitoring, logging and alerting, and take part in the on-call rotation
5. Automate backups, access management and security patching
6. Review infrastructure changes and help other engineers with deployments
7. Keep runbooks and system documentation up to date

The basics

- 5 or more years in DevOps, SRE or infrastructure roles
- Production experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
- Terraform or another infrastructure as code tool
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Scripting in Bash or Python

Reporting line
You will work with two backend engineers and a data engineer, and report to our head of technology.
