Financial Controller

Why this job exists:
Our German clients increasingly ask Westhafen to check the budgets and plans behind proposals, and the consultants doing that work need a controller close to them. We are hiring a Financial Controller in Germany to build those analyses and to run Westhafen's own planning in the country. The New York office is six hours behind. The position is full-time and from home.
What fills your week:

• Rebuild client budgets and plans and check them against actual figures
• Prepare variance and margin analyses for our assessments
• Plan and track Westhafen's own budget in Germany
• Prepare monthly management reports for the partners
• Improve our planning templates in Excel

Requirements:

• A degree in business administration, economics or finance
• First experience in controlling or financial analysis, internships included
• Excel at an advanced level
