Overview
As International Tax Manager you drive tax strategy and compliance for German entities and support EU regions. You will stay abreast of German/EU tax changes and translate them into actionable guidance for stakeholders. You’ll lead local tax health checks and audits, coordinating with external advisors as needed. You’ll partner with finance, legal, and business teams to ensure tax-efficient structures and drive digitization of tax processes. This role offers global exposure within a leading automation company and impact across multiple markets.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Oversee tax compliance and risk management for German group entities and support other EU countries
- Promote and implement the Group’s global/regional tax strategy and policy in Germany
- Monitor regional tax legislation changes and communicate impact to internal stakeholders
- Lead or participate in local tax health checks or tax audits with external advisors
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and business teams for tax-efficient structuring of transactions/operations
- Review internal tax reporting and external filings; drive process improvements in tax compliance
- Support implementation of global tax digitalization initiatives across local entities
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Degree in Tax Law, Accounting, or Finance; Master or professional qualification (e.g., Tax Advisor, CPA, CTA) is a plus
- At least 5 years of local country tax practice experience, preferably international
- Strong knowledge of German corporate income tax law
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities, especially translating tax concepts for non-tax professionals
