EDI Coordinator / Developer

Overview

As an EDI Coordinator / Developer, you drive end-to-end EDI connectivity between Rhenus Overland, customers, carriers, and partners. You analyze requirements, implement and optimize data exchanges, and ensure stable, high-quality interfaces within a dynamic logistics setting. You collaborate with business, IT, and external partners to improve information flows and integrations, supporting adoption of new technologies and patterns. This role combines hands-on execution with cross-functional coordination to enable reliable, scalable supply chain data interchange.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Analyze business and technical requirements for EDI integrations with customers, carriers, and partners
• Design, implement, monitor, and optimize EDI connections and message flows
• Manage EDI projects from initiation through completion, including coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Act as the primary interface between business, IT, and integration partners for EDI-related topics
• Ensure stability, performance, and data quality of EDI interfaces
• Support troubleshooting, incident analysis, and root-cause resolution for EDI issues
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration processes, standards, and documentation
• Support the adoption of new technologies and integration patterns where relevant

Zentrale Anforderungen

• Higher professional education (HBO) level of thinking and working
• Experience in business process support, system integration, or EDI-related roles is an advantage
• Affinity with the road transport and logistics sector
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Results-driven and solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to manage multiple topics in parallel
• EDI standards (e.g. EDIFACT, BORD512)
• Integration technologies such as API and XML
• Data flows and system integrations in a logistics context
