Overview

In this role you lead AI use cases in Industrial Underwriting and Claims, converting business rules into technical specifications and validating model outputs against real decisions. You work in a cross-functional delivery team to design prompts, RAG retrieval, and governance for GenAI, ensuring regulatory and internal requirements are reflected in the solution. You drive AI adoption by creating impact-focused dashboards and change materials for underwriters and claims handlers. The role emphasizes collaboration with data scientists and engineers to shape practical, compliant AI solutions. Verantwortungsbereiche

• Own AI use cases from discovery to operational adoption in Industrial Underwriting and Claims
• Define golden truth datasets and validate AI outputs against underwriting and claims decisions
• Design, test and iterate prompts and RAG retrieval logic for GenAI in UW/claims
• Translate business rules, edge cases and EU AI Act/ compliance requirements into sprint-ready specs
• Coordinate with AI delivery team and backlog management to prioritize work
• Lead business-layer UAT, challenge model outputs against real operations, document failures and business impact
• Track AI adoption with impact dashboards and create change materials for end-users
• Represent UW and Claims perspectives in technical workshops with Data Scientists and Engineers

Zentrale Anforderungen

• Several years in a regulated industry, ideally insurance
• At least 2 years of GenAI prompting, agentic workflow design and model risk assessment
• Proven ability to build, evaluate and iterate LLM prompts and RAG retrieval for insurance docs
• BA artefacts with structured analysis methods (e.g., BPMN maps, edge case registers, acceptance criteria, user stories)
• Experience with problem structuring, Six Sigma or Prince2 or comparable project management
• Ability to translate EU AI Act obligations and compliance into design constraints for cloud GenAI
• International project experience; fluent English (C2) and German (B2)
• Comfort presenting and debating at all levels, including C-Level
