Overview

In this role you will develop automated finance reporting and data models to support controlling. You will build cross-system data pipelines and dashboards, integrating SAP, Salesforce, and other sources to drive business insights. You will optimize reporting tools, ensure data quality, and coordinate international projects. This is a hands-on position at Basler, enabling scalable, data-driven decisions in a global technology company.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Develop automated reporting solutions for financial controlling
• Build and maintain data models integrating SAP (R/3, S/4HANA, BW), Salesforce, and other sources
• Coordinate international projects and connect subsidiaries using non-SAP systems
• Design and implement automated ETL processes in SAP Datasphere
• Create dashboards and calculations in SAP Analytics Cloud; develop SQL-based solutions in SAP Datasphere
• Analyze business results and prepare reports and ad hoc analyses
• Reconcile data, investigate variances, and ensure consistent reporting across systems
• Continuously optimize reporting tools, processes, and data/calculation models
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize reporting tools and data models

Zentrale Anforderungen

• Experience developing BI solutions and data models for finance/controlling, including star schema modeling and data normalization
• Familiarity with finance and controlling data from ERP systems
• Strong SQL skills
• Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud; familiarity with SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA, and Salesforce
• Experience building data pipelines and ETL processes; reconciling data across systems and improving data quality
• Ability to explain analytical findings clearly to finance and business stakeholders
• Experience coordinating projects with international teams
• Very good command of German (written and spoken)
• Professional proficiency in English
