We are dedicated to accelerating the discovery and development of new therapies and diagnostics by providing the highest quality biospecimens, in vitro preclinical products, and cell and gene therapy starting materials, coupled with specialty lab services.Key Responsibilities:Registration of samples in central Laboratory Information & Management System (LIMS)Archiving and Dearchiving of all study related materials (e.g. documents, paraffin slides and tissue blocks) within the Filing CabinetInventory documentationsEnvironmental monitoring (e.g. pest control, temperature and humidity)Prepare, create and edit study-specific shipping ordersHanding over and receipt of archival materialHandling of the relevant computer softwareResult documentation of pathological evaluationArchiving raw dataEvaluation assistance for ISH-stained slidesFollow-up of evaluations, calculation of the results, quality control of calculationsArchiving of analyzed tissue sections and associated documentationsTransfer of completed and tested result sheets to subsequent process stepsPosition Qualifications (Education, Skills, Experience):Commercial apprenticeshipGood German skillsGood English skillsGood knowledge of computer systemsExperience in Office applicationsTeam playerCompensation and Benefits:Discovery Life Sciences is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices, and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive.
