Senior Engineer Quality - Project Quality Management (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilites and Tasks: Act as the main quality contact for customers in commercial vehicle and ESS projects and maintain strong customer relationshipsServe as the key interface between customers and internal departments and drive quality topics throughout the project lifecyclePrepare and coordinate quality-related documents and requirements for customer tenders and project developmentReview and negotiate quality-related contract clauses and customer-specific requirementsLead quality activities during design, development and project implementation, including design reviews, quality planning and FQP preparationMonitor and lead site quality activities, including quality witnessing, review of quality records and coordination of outsourced quality personnelCoordinate site acceptance, TOP documentation, grid acceptance and customer walkdowns to ensure smooth project deliveryIndependently lead the analysis and resolution of complex quality issues, including root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actionsDrive cross-functional problem solving and continuous quality improvement in an international project environmentYour Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field5+ years of relevant experience in ESS, customer quality, project quality, supplier quality or a related field, preferably in the automotive, battery or energy industryProven experience in direct customer interaction, handling customer requirements, complaints and escalationsStrong knowledge of 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, FMEA, SPC and structured problem-solving methodsGood understanding of quality management systems and customer-specific requirements; IATF 16949 and VDA knowledge is an advantageStrong project management, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to independently drive quality topics and cross-functional problem solvingFluent in English and German; Chinese is an advantageWillingness to travel internationallyYour Benefits:Excellent long-term career prospects in an international companyAnnual bonus payments (loyalty bonus and variable performance bonus)Company pension schemeGroup accident insurance providing 24/7 coverage both at work and during personal timeInternational working environment where teamwork is highly valuedTraining and professional development opportunitiesEmployee discounts through Corporate BenefitsBicycle leasing programFind here more benefits:
