QC Scientist - Microbiology

Proclinical is seeking a QC Scientist specializing in microbiology to join a dynamic and focus on method development and technical contributions within the microbiology function. You will play a key part in strengthening the team's capabilities and supporting the development of laboratory methods and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and support microbiological work within the QC function.
• Contribute to method development, which is a significant focus of the role.
• Support the implementation of laboratory methods and processes.
• Apply practical GMP knowledge to laboratory activities and documentation.
• Operate and work with analytical techniques and instrumentation, including NMR, HPLC, and UV-Vis.
• Collaborate with the wider microbiology team as the site continues to develop.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Solid hands-on microbiology experience.
• Practical GMP knowledge and application.
• Demonstrable experience in method development.
• Proficiency with analytical techniques, particularly NMR (priority), HPLC, and UV-Vis.
• Ability to work independently and contribute effectively without extensive training.
• Fluent German and good English communication skills.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site in Berlin.
