With over 70 years' experience in the UK, TÜV SÜD provides peace of mind that products and systems are safe, reliable, and compliant by providing testing, inspection and product certification, knowledge services and training. The Business Assurance Division, established as a standalone division in 2020, provides system focused certification, audit and assurance services and training across a wide range of industries.
Working within a team of billing systems specialists, you will contribute to the provision of comprehensive assessment of communication provider’s metering and billing systems. This includes assessing end to end activities and ensuring they meet the requirements of the Ofcom Metering and Billing Direction.
Main Duties & Responsibilities :
Certification / Regulatory approval of Metering and Billing Direction 2017, including General Condition C3.
Performing on site and remote audits of Third Parties and Communication Providers.
Presenting findings to Senior Management clearly explaining the requirements and timescales.
Documenting audit results and observations, and updating supporting documentation.
Tracking and closing findings with clients, Senior Management and where appropriate, Ofcom.
Attending technical committee meetings and industry watchdog committees (OFCOM and MABABF (Metering & Billing Approval Bodies Forum)).
Qualifikationen
Essential Criteria – the successful candidate will be / have :
Auditing experience
Project management experience, supporting multi-site audit schedules.
Accurate, clear and timely communication skills including verbal, written and listening.
Ability to plan and organise, giving attention to details and completion.
Reliable judgment that is consistent, adaptable to unusual situations, with a realistic and common-sense approach to day to day issues.
Ability to work both individually and as a member of a team, motivated, a self-starter and committed to self-improvement.
Ability to travel both within the UK and possibly abroad, with a full UK Driving Licence.
Computer Literate, with the ability to utilise Microsoft and bespoke software as required.
Desirable Criteria – it would be beneficial if the successful candidate had :
In depth and recent experience of working within one or more of the UK’s major telecommunication providers, either within a technical, operational, billing, revenue assurance or regulatory role.
A recognised Lead Auditor with IAF (EA) Codes 31.2 (Storage & Communication) and 33 (Information Technology). (Either IRCA registered or appointed by an accredited certification body)
ISO 9001, ISO17065 Lead Auditor Qualified
Project management experience
