Job Title : Data Center / Energy Engineer Job Location : Bucharest, Romania Main Responsibilities : Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of data center power and energy systems Perform on-site maintenance of electrical equipment such as UPS, PDUs, switchboards, batteries, and monitoring systems Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and power-related faults Conduct inspections and health checks to ensure safe and reliable operation Assist with system upgrades, replacements, and expansions Follow preventive maintenance plans and service schedules Work closely with senior engineers during deployments and technical interventions Read electrical drawings and follow technical documentation during installations Record service activities and prepare basic technical reports after each visit Ensure compliance with safety standards and site procedures Provide basic technical support to customers during and after service activities Travel to customer sites as required Requirements : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field Basic understanding of electrical power systems and energy equipment (UPS, batteries, switchboards, power distribution, site energy) Familiarity with data center or telecom site infrastructure Able to read electrical drawings and technical documentation Comfortable using Microsoft Office and basic CAD tools Good communication skills and able to work effectively with customers and internal teams Able to analyze problems and follow instructions to complete technical tasks English at working level (spoken and written) Hands-on mindset and willing to work on-site and travel when needed Open to learning, proactive, and comfortable working in a field / service environment Participation in technical projects, internships, competitions, or student organizations is a plus Huawei's Fresh Graduate Program : We offer you an exciting professional career in one of the leading and fastest growing multinational telecommunication companies; Personal Development is ensured through training and workshop opportunities in the first 6 months; Firsthand experience in customer engagement and new technology innovation; Challenging and diverse assignments that enable you to continuously develop your personal and professional strengths; Competitive Salary package; Mentor / Buddy Program : A mentor that will guide you through both business and intercultural development; After onboarding, internal networking activities with other fresh Graduates take place on a regular basis.
