Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead Regional Function : Oversee and drive export control and sanctions compliance activities across the region, fostering a strong culture of compliance and accountability
• Advisor to Leadership : Serve as the key legal and compliance advisor to executive management. Proactively communicate regulatory developments and provide strategic guidance on export controls, embargoes, and sanctions
• Policy & Decision Authority : Develop and implement regional export control and sanctions strategies in line with global policies. Hold final decision-making authority in the region on these matters
• Regulatory Change Management : Monitor, anticipate, and implement regulatory changes, ensuring regional business adaptation to evolving requirements
• Risk Management : Identify and assess compliance risks; propose and oversee mitigation strategies. Advise leadership on risk exposure
• External Liaison : Represent the organization to regulators, government agencies, and industry groups regarding export control and sanctions
• Incident Management : Lead regulatory investigations, disclosures, and corrective actions as needed
• Licensing Oversight : Manage export license applications, approvals, and recordkeeping with relevant authorities
• Training & Awareness : Deliver targeted training programs and drive ongoing awareness initiatives throughout the region
• Continuous Improvement : Regularly review and enhance processes and policies, leveraging best practices and new technologies
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with internal partners, including legal, compliance, customs, and business units, to enable compliant and efficient international operations
