The role

Are you an agile expert with a passion for driving innovation and transformation? SoftwareONE is seeking an Agility Lead to join our Global Microsoft Centre of Excellence (CoE) . This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Microsoft-based solutions, drive agile practices across cross-functional teams, and lead our efforts in continuous improvement.

As an Agility Lead, you will be responsible for embedding agile methodologies across our Microsoft solutions portfolio, collaborating closely with product managers, delivery teams, and technology experts to ensure smooth, scalable, and high-quality delivery. You’ll be at the forefront of our agile transformation journey, fostering a culture of agility, innovation, and high performance within the global Microsoft CoE.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead Agile Practices : Advocate for and implement agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) across the organisation, ensuring teams deliver Microsoft-based solutions effectively and efficiently.
  • Collaborate Across Teams : Work closely with product managers, delivery teams, and senior leaders to align agile processes with business priorities and customer needs.
  • Coaching & Training : Provide hands-on coaching and support to teams, helping them refine their agile practices, improve performance, and overcome challenges.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement : Identify areas for improvement, remove blockers, and drive a culture of ongoing innovation and excellence.
  • Agile Metrics & Governance : Track key agile metrics to ensure teams stay on track, maintaining productivity and high-quality delivery across all projects.
  • Global Leadership : Support and guide cross-functional teams globally to achieve consistent, scalable results in Microsoft solutions.

What we need to see from you

  • Experience : Proven experience in leading agile transformations within an IT services provider or a similar company to SoftwareONE. You should have hands-on experience in managing agile teams in large-scale technology environments, particularly with cloud-based solutions like Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 .
  • Agile Expertise : In-depth knowledge of agile frameworks and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and experience in scaling these practices across global teams.
  • Leadership & Communication : Strong leadership abilities with the skill to inspire and motivate teams, along with exceptional communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving : The ability to identify challenges and roadblocks and implement innovative solutions that drive productivity and efficiency.
  • Certifications : Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Agilist) are highly desirable.
