Mechanical Engineer for Electronics (f / m / d)

Responsibilities :

Development and design of mechanical components, systems or devices

Carrying out FEM simulations and deriving mechanical adjustments based on the simulation results

Optimization of designs regarding costs, performance and manufacturability

Creating technical documentation and drawings for production and communicating with suppliers

Participation in the creation of validation and test plans as well as requirement specifications, specifications, FMEA and risk analyses / tolerance calculations

Intensive interdisciplinary cooperation with related departments

Qualifications :

You have a degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or comparable training and many years of relevant professional experience

Experience in the design and development of mechanical systems and familiarity with design standards and practices

Confident handling of CAD systems (especially SolidWorks) in 2D and 3D

Ideally experience with requirement management tools (e.g. Siemens Polarion)

You are a team player and have an open and communicative way of working

Very good written and spoken German and a good command of English
