Job Description

The purpose of a role is :

  • to support METRO entities in developing, implementing, and maintaining strategies, plans, and procedures to ensure the continuity of our IT services and business operations. To collaborate closely with various stakeholders across the organization to identify risks, assess impacts, and develop resilience measures to safeguard our critical assets and operations.

Your Tasks :

  • Support METRO entities in developing and maintaining comprehensive IT Business Continuity (BC) and Service Continuity (SC) plans aligned with industry standards and best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish recovery objectives, strategies, and priorities for IT services and business operations.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to support them in designing and implementing resilient architectures, redundancy measures, and failover mechanisms.
  • Establish and oversee testing, training, and exercising programs to validate the effectiveness of IT BC / SC plans and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to incident response teams during crisis situations.
  • Monitor and analyze emerging threats, trends, and regulatory requirements related to IT BC / SC, and recommend proactive measures to enhance resilience and compliance.
  • Prepare and present reports, metrics, and recommendations to senior management to facilitate informed decision-making and investment in IT BC / SC initiatives.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Auditor, CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • 5+ years proven experience in IT Business Continuity Management (BCM), Disaster Recovery (DR), or Service Continuity (SC) roles, preferably in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and frameworks such as ISO / IEC 27001 and ISO / IEC  22301
  • Proficiency in BC / SC planning tools, risk assessment methodologies, and incident management platforms.
  • Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, including cloud technologies, virtualization, and network security.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks, analyze impacts, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and lead multidisciplinary teams in crisis situations.
