In order to support the Cabin & Cargo domain within Customer Services in Hamburg, Airbus is looking for a
Technical Documentation Engineer (d / f / m)
Our main mission is to deliver the complete documentation at aircraft entry into service and to maintain it all along the aircraft life cycle, which is also part of the airworthiness requirements.
As a Technical Documentation Engineer (d / f / m) you are in charge of developing and delivering aircraft maintenance / material documentation, to enable the safe and efficient accomplishment of maintenance operations by the customers : airlines, Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO), lessors.
Our team is international, highly motivated, pays attention to details and is known for a good collaboration.
Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your tasks and responsibilities
You answer to the airline queries in terms of quality, cost and time
You work in close cooperation with numerous interfaces (e.g. engineering departments, customer services, subcontractors)
You launch and manage the subcontracting activities (support, follow-up, escalation)
You validate and release data for customers
Desired skills and qualifications
Engineer Aeronautical / Mechanical / Electrical degree or equivalent
Or a completed technical apprenticeship (e.g. in aviation sector) with appropriate further training / education
Technical drawings reading and understanding
Knowledge of aircraft systems and aeronautics
Aircraft maintenance and Aircraft configuration management knowledge appreciated
Experience in usage of AMM (Airbus Maintenance Manual) and IPC (Illustrated Parts Catalogue) or equivalent
English level at advanced level (min. B2), willingness to learn German
