Were the creators of the award-winning Flybaby baby carrier a design-driven essential trusted by thousands of families - and were just getting started.
Founded in 2021 by two sisters Flybaby has quickly grown into one of Berlins most exciting family-focused brands. With a small but mighty team were building innovative products empowering tools for parents and a vibrant community that celebrates the real messy magical moments of family life.

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative organized and community-focused Social Media & Community Manager to support our digital presence. Youll manage daily content and interactions on Instagram and TikTok help shape the brand voice and grow an active helpful community of parents.

Youll collaborate with partners influencers internal teams and would be great if you could occasionally help with light visual role is perfect for someone who is both strategic and hands-on and who enjoys working in a small dynamic startup environment.

Tasks

Social Media Management (75%)

• Plan schedule and publish daily content on Instagram and TikTok. Future potential to expand to Pinterest and Linkedin.
• Own community interactions: replying to comments DMs questions and engaging with other creators
• Develop and execute monthly content strategies aligned with Flybabys goals
• Track performance and optimize content formats (Reels carousels stories trends TikTok formats)

Content Creation & Visual Editing (10%)

• Comfortable creating simple visual edits (text overlays basic design cropping reels editing)
• Collaborate with designers or photographers on larger creative projects
• Ensure brand identity is consistent across content

Brand & Influencer Partnerships (5%)

• Identify and manage collaborations with influencers local brands parent-focused communities and family-related service providers
• Handle outreach scheduling contracts (if needed) follow-ups
• Track partnership performance

Copywriting & Voice (10%)

• Write clear friendly and relevant captions in German and English
• Maintain Flybabys brand tone (warm supportive informative)

Project Workflow & Organization

• Use tools such as Trello Notion Google Workspace etc.
• Keep track of campaigns deadlines content calendars
• Support reporting and performance tracking
• Coordinate with the Flybaby team on product news and community initiatives

Requirements

Requirements

• 2 years minimum experience in social media content community management or similar
• Strong understanding of Instagram TikTok culture trends best practices
• Understanding and experience with Linkedin and Pinterest
• Excellent writing skills in German and English
• Comfortable with simple editing tools (CapCut Canva etc.)
• Experience managing influencers and/or small brand collaborations
• Basic analytical skills (IG Insights TikTok Analytics Google Sheets)
• Highly organized with project management experience
• Friendly empathetic communicator - ideally someone who enjoys the parenting/family space
• Able to bring new ideas enjoy creative problem solving and work independently
