We are looking for a (senior) development operations engineer or a senior developer with development operations experience who wants to focus on development operations and related tools to execute, further automate and unify the end to end development operations process.

As member of our SAP BTP Multi Channel delivery & DC Buildout team, you will ...

learn, implement and continuously improve complex software deployments of SAP BTP platform and SAP BTP services with focus on deployment automation and harmonization of the deployment process
take over the responsibility for regular installation and updates of SAP BTP platform and SAP BTP services in test environments of our sovereign and private cloud stakeholders
educate and support our sovereign and private cloud stakeholders and third party operators in deploying and running SAP BTP services in sovereign and private cloud environments.

What you bring :

6+ years of professional experience in cloud-native development or development operations with cloud technologies like Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, containers and various hyperscaler APIs.

Hands-on experience in different lifecycle management tools and technologies like Terraform, Concourse, ArgoCD, OCM, Flux, Jenkins, etc.

Hands-on experience in deployments on major hyperscalers as AWS, Azure, GCP.

Sound development skills in a scripting or programming languages such as Python, Golang, Java etc.

Excellent analytical skills with proven track of design and solution of challenging technical problems.

Fluency both written and spoken in English and German.

The SAP BTP Multi Channel delivery & DC Buildout team is part of T&I BTP Foundation Unit and is responsible for driving and executing the SAP Business Technology Platform strategy for deploying cloud products into sovereign and private environments. The team has end-to-end ownership of the complete topic to ensure an excellent customer experience for the SAP BTP Sovereign Cloud product portfolio.
