University Professor (W2)
for Innovation and Transformation Management
Your Responsibilities :
You will represent the area Innovation and Transformation Management in research and teaching. You understand Innovation and Transformation Management as strategic competence of corporations, which is part of regional value creation and social structures. You will contribute to the strategic development of research in your area of expertise and should introduce new courses for specialization in the research areas of the professorship. In teaching, you will be involved in the Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration and in the Master's program in “Pluralist Economics”, “Entrepreneurship and SME Management”, and “Management and Markets”.
Your profile :
- You fulfill the legal employment requirements of § 36 Higher Education Act of North Rhine-Westphalia. More information on these requirements can be found at service.uni-siegen.de / prof
- We expect an above-average doctorate in the field of Business Administration.
- A research focus in several, as many as possible, of the following subject areas is required : Interdisciplinary innovation processes in medium-sized organizations, decentralized and networked innovation, translation of social innovation into SME business models and management of sustainability-related transformation. In doing so, you also contribute to the further profile development of the faculty.
- Documented research experience in the field of innovation and transformation management is also required, proven by internationally recognized, high-quality peer-reviewed publications, which ideally have led to international visibility of your research results, proven by corresponding impact factors.
- We expect demonstrable experience in independently and successfully acquiring third-party funds.
- You have teaching experience in the subject area you represent (including interdisciplinary) at all levels of university education, which you demonstrate through teaching evaluations, as well as in the supervision of theses and doctoral theses. A teaching offering at the interface of the above-mentioned master's degree programs is of particular interest to us.
- We require the ability and willingness to hold courses in both German and English.
- You have committed yourself to academic self-administration and are willing to continue to do so.
