Integrated Air and Missile Defense Operations Center Specialist
Key Role :
Serve as a part of a watch team providing 24 / 7 / 365 support, including night, weekend, and holiday shifts, to assist with Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) operations, contingencies, exercises, and tests within the USEUCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Serve as main point of contact for the employment, execution, and operations of IAMD situational awareness systems, including Command and Control Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC), Processing and Display Subsystem-Migration (PDS-M), Global Command and Control Systems-Joint (GCCS-J), and Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI).
Monitor and alert the watch floor of possible missile engagements and threats. Monitor the IAMD systems, architecture, and related support equipment to detect, diagnose, and repair system malfunctions or take corrective action due to operator error.
Monitor and coordinate C2BMC system installation and modifications, implement proper security procedures applicable to the operation and maintenance support of the C2BMC system, and advise on all IAMD tactical and technical considerations.
Coach, teach, train, and mentor watch personnel in IAMD system operating tactics, techniques, and procedures, maintenance procedures, asset management, and the use and care of support equipment.
Assist with defense designs in support of assigned and contingency missions or plans or IAW established guidelines and policies.
Basic Qualifications :
3+ years of experience with defense planning and operations at the strategic, theater, or tactical level
Experience with upper-tier or lower-tier air and missile defense systems or BMD command and control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) systems
Ability to gather data, conduct analysis, and write technical assessments and reports
Ability to serve as a part of a watch team providing 24 / 7 / 365 support, including night, weekend, and holiday shifts
TS / SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
Active passport with at least 6 months validity for the purposes of visa applications
Additional Qualifications :
Experience with IAMD situational awareness tools, including C2BMC, PDS-M, GCCS-J, or ADSI
Experience with management and development of advanced IAMD concepts, documentation, and doctrine
Experience with operational planning with the Joint Staff, a combatant command, or combatant command component staff
Knowledge of the Joint and Combined operational planning process, U.S. and foreign air and missile defense systems, IAMD operations, and space-based IAMD capabilities
Knowledge of Joint Publications and the Joint Operations Planning Process
Knowledge of air and missile defense processes, regulations, and policies to effectively coordinate IAMD operations in the AOR, as required
Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
