Compliance Officer (m / f / d)

As a Compliance Officer , you will play a crucial role in our growing Compliance process due to the increasing worldwide business done by all our entities in Europe.
As part of the Compliance Team, your responsibilities under the supervision of the Head of Compliance and Ethics will be :
- Legal and regulatory watch
- Implementing, reviewing and updating policies and procedures
- Realizing due diligences and risk assessment for the on-boarding process and remediation on customers (KYC) and suppliers (KYS)
- Answering the external requests from our business partners on Compliance matters
- Analyzing alerts and issues reported to the Compliance Team, investigating if needed, editing audit trials and reports if relevant
- Collaborating in the assessment of the Compliance process within the Company, preparing regular presentations for the Management
- Giving advice and assistance to the employees regarding Compliance topics
- Cooperating with our consultants, external service providers, auditors as well as regulatory authorities if deemed necessary
Your profile :
Master degree in Compliance, Legal or a related field , or you’ve got a strong and relevant knowledge in Compliance through your past experience (e.g. working for big industries, or law firms, consulting firms, regulated companies such as banks, financial institutions…)3 to 5 years of experience as a Compliance Officer, KYC or KYS Analyst, Legal Counsel or Consultant specialized in Compliance matters, or any related position.Experience in working in an international environment .fluent in English, and German (OR) Hungarian (mandatory due to our activities) .This position requires both obvious sense of ethics, priority and a deep interest for regulatory matters .
You show strong analytical and high problem-solving skills, curiosity, pro-activity, flexibility, autonomy , but above all a deep willingness to understand the tobacco industry's regulatory environment and a team spirit as you will interact with other key functions from all departments.
