(Senior) Backend Engineer

Tasks We’re seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with a focus on backend development and databases. While technical skills are important, we place a higher emphasis on attitude and mindset. Requirements Your Skills and Experiences : Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services, with an increasing focus on transitioning from PHP to Rust. Work on database management, migration, and optimization, particularly in moving from MariaDB to PostgreSQL. Contribute to architectural discussions and long-term technical decisions. Must-Have Qualifications : Backend Development : Proficient in PHP and willingness to dive into Rust in the future. Databases : Solid understanding of SQL and experience with MariaDB or PostgreSQL (or similar relational databases). Paradigms : Experience in TDD, Unit-Tests, Integration-Tests, Code-Coverage Professional Experience : Proven track record of delivering backend solutions in production environments, with 5+ years of experience in similar roles. Nice-to-Have Skills : Experience leading migrations from one technology stack to another. Familiarity with JavaScript and front-end integration.
