Roles& Responsibilities :

In yourrole as Director of Sales, you will create a marketing strategy andrelated sales activities that you and the sales team will carry outto meet corporate objectives and sales targets. The sales staffwill receive coaching, training, and ongoing development from theDirector of Sales.

Director ofSales will carry out the following duties with the utmostcare :

  • Oversee hotelmarketing and sales plans to ensure they appropriately reflect anduphold the company's goals. Utilize these plans to concentratesales efforts across all market segments. Prepare corporatecontracts for the hotel in compliance with current business andprice conditions. Collaborate closely with the senior managementteam to identify and drive targeted initiatives in business areasthat require further support.
  • Work closely withthe group coordinator to monitor options, discounts, and offers forrecurring reservations for conferences, seminars, andgroups.
  • Lead by example in terms of salesdevelopment and assist in hiring team members and their futuresuccess.
  • Develop the group team throughleadership and example-setting. Oversee and manage the forecastingprocess in collaboration with the revenue department to ensureaccurate, timely, and comprehensive information. Assist incompiling and / or overseeing the creation of reports related to thesales department's operations, such as the monthly and annualforecasts, the lead management system, and bookingreports.
  • Actively participate in and completethe preparation of the annual sales and marketing plan, quarterlyupdates, and the complexed hotels' annual budgets. Implement plansand actions quickly to counteract changes in the economy, markets,or competitive landscape.
  • Support the company'ssales and marketing activities by suggesting, carrying out, andkeeping an eye on relevant localactivity.
  • Arrange detailed material on thevariety of goods and services the hotel provides, and send thisinformation to both current and prospective guests via appropriatesales channels and resources.
  • Generate timely,accurate reports that satisfy the requirements of the managementbusiness and the hotel.
  • Compile and deliver tothe hotel owners and senior management team, once a month, theproactive sales team's focus, activity, andcontribution.
  • Cooperate with other departmentsin the hotel, particularly Reservations and the BanquetingDepartment, to create an exceptional Guest experience and buildstrong, comprehensive salesprograms.
  • Participate in pertinent managementmeetings to create and carry out campaigns for sales andmarketing.

  • A degree from an academic institutionin a suitable business subject, such as business development orsales.
