Senior Accountant with German (m/f/o), remote

We are looking for your support as a Senior Accountant (m / f / o) , remote as soon as possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Responsible for the preparation of financial statements as per German GAAP ( HGB ) and IFRS
• Prepare notes to the financial statement & management reports
• Prepare VAT & CIT filings with the support of external tax advisor
• Prepare monthly & annual statistical filings
• Assist with the preparation and execution of our annual audit process and providing high quality audit schedules and supporting documentation to our external auditors
• Play an instrumental role into monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close, including journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals
• Support with the cash forecast preparation & working capital optimization
• Process factoring (transmission and reconciliation)
• Close cooperation with HQ accounting & tax teams and internal Global Finance Support center in Bulgaria
• Contribute to further improvement of accounting processes
• Work on further improvement of process documentation

PERSONALITY AND COMMITMENT :

• Successfully completed commercial education
• Extensive practical experience in the areas of dunning, accounting / customer service
• Very good user knowledge of SAP (modules FI, SD)
• Confident handling of common MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Fluent in German and very good English skills
• High level of commitment
• Organized, structured, service oriented and very independent way of working
• Assertiveness, reliability and ability to deal with conflicts
