Are you ready to drive innovation in the manufacturing industry? As a Strategic Account Executive , you’ll be at the forefront of our mission to transform global supply chain risk management. This high-impact role focuses on identifying, developing, and securing business opportunities within the DACH region. Leveraging your strategic insight and enterprise sales expertise, you’ll navigate complex sales processes to expand our client's footprint and solidify their leadership in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Strategy

  • Forge strategic relationships, engaging key stakeholders to uncover business objectives and risk management challenges.
  • Deliver the value proposition, articulating customer-specific benefits of their supply chain risk management solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in global supply chain risk, guiding discussions with industry leaders.
  • Align solutions to customer needs, creating compelling, customised strategies.

Relationship & Opportunity Development

  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, achieving targeted new business wins.
  • Cultivate relationships with key contacts in target organisations, maximising influence.
  • Conduct in-depth research to understand target accounts’ financials, business processes, and system requirements.
  • Drive prospects through the sales cycle, collaborating with the Inside Sales team to maintain momentum and secure actionable next steps.
  • Network with decision-makers and influencers at conferences, forums, and industry platforms to promote the product and generate leads.
  • Leverage the Challenger Sales Methodology to differentiate and strengthen the value proposition.
  • Deal Preparation, Closing & Implementation

  • Present tailored solutions that demonstrate clear business and solution alignment.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and close deals effectively.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to finalise agreements and ensure all contractual obligations are met.
  • Oversee the implementation process, ensuring smooth onboarding and user adoption when necessary.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Utilise Sales Operations processes and Salesforce (SFDC) to track and manage sales activity.
  • Communicate regularly with management on progress and market insights.
  • Gather customer feedback to inform product development and align with commercial objectives.
  • What You’ll Bring

    Experience :

  • 7+ years in external sales or business development, with a proven track record of success.
  • Expertise in selling enterprise-wide SaaS solutions, including tailoring new user requirements in a commercial context.
  • Skills :

  • Exceptional presentation and sales hunting abilities.
  • Strong networking and social media proficiency for building industry connections.
  • Proven ability to work with procurement, compliance, supply chain, or risk management teams.
  • Education :
  • A university degree is required.
