Role overview

As part of Allianz Technology SE’s Legal Function, you will advise the company´s business segment Allianz Services on all legal areas (except tax law and labor law) with a special focus on corporate and commercial law. You will provide business oriented legal advice to enable the Allianz Services business as well as safeguard the interests of the company, to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations. You will team with colleagues from various geographies worldwide to resolve complex cross-border legal issues.

What you do:

• Provide business oriented legal advice with respect to all aspects of law (except tax and labor law), with a special focus on contracts and corporate law.
• Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements, in particular global service agreements, vendor agreements, and other partnership agreements
• Draft, review and update Allianz Services’ corporate rulebook and advice on all aspects of corporate governance and corporate housekeeping.
• Advise on legal aspects related to the inter-company service delivery by Allianz Services as service provider of the Allianz Group.
• Raise the level of awareness and understanding in the business for legal issues, risks and mitigation measures and act as a bridge between functions and the business for handling legal challenges.
• Stay abreast of legal developments and industry trends to provide proactive legal advice and support.
• Develop and maintain legal templates and team know-how and contribute to upskilling the Legal Function not only regarding legal expertise, but also regarding technical solutions and developments (e.g. GenAI).

What you bring:

• German qualified lawyer (at least 16 points combined from First and Second State Exams)
• English: business fluent
• At least 5 years of proven experience in providing legal counsel within an international law firm and preferably international inhouse environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues and provide practical solutions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to legal challenges
• A strong interest in constant upskilling & learning
• Strong negotiation and communication skills and a positive, pragmatic, and dynamic approach to legal practice
