The working student will support the Hybrid-Electric team in the field of aircraft electrification with focus on electrical propulsion concepts for aircraft, electric power distribution and system conceptual design & analysis while considering power electronics, system control and energy storage integration. Minimum duration : 6 months

Job Description
You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and presentation of study results under the supervision of a dedicated mentor in the team. The task will involve investigations and studies regarding electrical d rives for aviation with focus on both power converter and electrical machine as well as modeling and simulation studies.
Qualifications / Requirements :
- Studying on the Bachelor / Master semesters of Electrical Engineering or similar , preferable electrical drives and power electronics background.
- Proficiency with Matlab / Simulink or PLECS
- Knowledge about power electronics ar chitectures (single-level, multilevel converters)
- E xperience in the design of control systems for drive i nverters ( field oriented control , communication bus )
- Fluency in English
