Manager HSE (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:

• Implementing regulatory requirements in the areas of occupational health and safety, environmental protection, sustainability, chemical safety and machine safety in the company in coordination with the department heads

• Planning and conducting internal and external audits and training sessions

• Supporting the organization in the implementation of (Group) requirements and collaboration or management of (sub-)projects

• Preparing reports and keeping specific statistics

• Carrying out internal projects to improve safety standards

• Participation/advice in official approval procedures

• Cooperation with authorities and external service providers

• Advising the SEO on HSE issues

• Coordination with HSE organization (SurTec / FCS / Freudenberg)

Qualifications:

• Technical or scientific training/studies or more than five years of professional experience in the field of HSE

• Professional experience in the field of occupational safety, ideally in a manufacturing company in the chemical industry

• Good knowledge of legal regulations and standards in the areas of occupational health and safety, environmental protection, sustainability, and chemicals legislation

• Knowledge of water, air and soil protection and waste desirable

• Very good knowledge of written and spoken German and English

• Completed training as a FaSi is an advantage

• Good PC skills and proficiency in MS Office applications

• Ability to present/communicate content and conduct training courses

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills at all hierarchical levels
