Your tasks

Learn to master the following tasks in a training program (shortening possible) :

• Process metals and plastics with lathes, milling machines, and grinding machines
• Manufacture punching tools as well as replacement and wear parts according to drawing specifications
• Operate computer-controlled machine tools
• Commission production tools in the manufacturing plant
• Identify causes of malfunctions and eliminate them independently
• Get involved in internal and external projects together with other trainees, , as a trainee ambassador, at trade fairs, or in business simulation games
• Attend vocational school in Idar-Oberstein (BBS Harald-Fissler-Schule) once or twice a week
