StellenbeschreibungBachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or a related field. 7 years of professional experience in Data Engineering or a closely related backend / data-focused role. Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms . Excellent proficiency in Python for data processing and pipeline development. Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases . Proven experience building and optimizing ETL / ELT pipelines preferably in the healthcare domain . Hands-on experience with data processing and orchestration frameworks such as Apache Spark Airflow or similar tools. Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs for data integration. Solid understanding of Git-based workflows and version control. Experience with Docker and containerized data applications. Strong knowledge of clean secure and maintainable coding practices . Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies . Excellent documentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Proficiency with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI Tableau or Qlik . Strong team-oriented mindset with a reliable and proactive attitude. Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. Clear and effective communication skills. Fluent in English both written and verbal. Comfortable delivering internal and external presentations . Strong organizational and time-management skills. Demonstrated understanding of leadership principles and cross-team collaboration. Experience with healthcare data standards such as HL7 FHIR or DICOM . Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations (e.g. HIPAA GDPR ). Frontend development experience for dashboard integration or data visualization. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP . Tasks
- Follow the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) with a focus on data-driven systems.
- Analyze system flows data usage and end-to-end data processing workflows.
- Identify data-related problem areas optimize performance and resolve pipeline issues.
- Lead and contribute to multiple Scrum teams providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Enforce clean secure and scalable data engineering best practices.
- Design and implement robust data architectures for internal products and external data interfaces.
- Design develop and optimize ETL / ELT pipelines to extract transform and load healthcare data from diverse sources.
- Ensure data quality integrity security and compliance through effective data governance and management practices.
- Collaborate closely with data analysts and stakeholders to deliver KPI dashboards and custom reports leveraging BI tools.
- Maintain and continuously improve data infrastructure to support performance scalability and reliability.
- Research evaluate and implement new tools technologies and best practices to enhance data workflows and platform capabilities.
