For the long-term reinforcement of our Hardware Engineering team, we are looking for a

Hardware Engineer optical Communication (m / f / d)

What will expect you in this role :

Development of optical transmitters and optical detectors for free space optical communication

Special focus on optical electronics

Building up of a deep technical understanding in mixed circuit design and layout

Design and Layout of complex PCBs

Documentation of development results

Bring up and test of prototypes

Intensive collaboration with software team

What you can contribute :

Completed studies in electrical engineering or communications engineering

Experience in the field mixed signal sircuit design, RF engineering or optical communication

Knowledge of high speed serial interfaces

Knowledge about electromagnetic interference and compability

Experience in PCB layout is of advantage

Good knowledge of English

Initial work experience in the above-mentioned areas is preferred, but not essential if relevant experience is available, e.g. from internships, thesis or other projects
