About The Role

We’re looking for a Sales Director to expand our business in the DACH region. This individual should have a minimum of 8 years Enterprise Sales experience and has shown consistent outperformance in achieving his / her annual quota. Compensation associated with this position is competitive with the market and will be determined during the interview process based on skills and experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Personally driving $1M+ of new net revenue over the first fiscal year, developing new relationships through outbound sales activities and networking, supported by marketing.
  • Building and developing relationships and identifying opportunities with an account-based Sales Approach.
  • Managing, coaching, and leading a sales team after proven success as an individual contributor, with a defined career path.
  • Expanding Clarity AI’s reach and brand awareness in the DACH region.

The role is based in Germany or Switzerland.

What You’ll Need

  • Proven ability to challenge and overcome large incumbent competitors.
  • 8+ years of sales experience.
  • Experience utilizing a CRM to manage team sales tasks, pipeline, and closing.
  • Proven experience in selling data and tech solutions to Asset Management, Wealth Management, and Asset Owners.
  • Knowledge of the ESG market in the DACH region.
  • Self-starter, able to take ownership and initiative, with high energy and stamina.
  • Decisive and action-oriented, able to make rapid decisions even when they are short of information.
  • Highly motivated, independent and deeply passionate about sustainability and impact.
  • Native German-speaker, Swiss German is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills (minimum C1 level-proficient user).
  • Experience in a start-up.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree related to finance (such as Banking, Finance or investment management or sustainable finance).
