is a language service provider based in

Hamburg Germany. We specialize in translations

in the fields of marketing finance law

engineering and medicine and also offer services

in translation & editing interpreting foreign

language typesetting and language training.

Tasks

We are offering a paid internship (400700 per month) at our office (not remote) in Hamburg for 5 months or longer and with a range of

exciting tasks such as :

Running project kickoffs and postproject analysis initiatives
Learning and working with clientspecific tools
In Word : performing formatting layout checks sourcetotarget alignment creating templates

automating the creation of tables of content comparing (track changes) and merging documents

creating forms using fields and advanced tools etc.

In Excel : creating functions pivot tables charts lists and group data; analysing data; data validation

macros and VBA etc.

In PowerPoint : inserting embedding and linking media and data; comparing and merging documents;

mirroring source to target

Requirements

you bring with you :

Thorough knowledge and understanding of standard CAT tools as we extensively use Phrase and SDL Studio in our operations to ensure seamless project execution.

Basic knowledge of a programming language is required; moreover familiarity with a markup language will be considered a significant advantage for this role.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Excel Word and PowerPoint is essential for documentation and presentation tasks.

A high level of technical proficiency working with and troubleshooting various computer platforms and tools along with the ability to understand and navigate proprietary systems effectively.
