Senior Project Engineer – Solar PV

Location : Remote

Salary : up to €90,000 + 15% bonus

We are excited to announce our partnership with a prominent leader in the renewable energy sector, dedicated to the development, financing, construction, and operation of utility-scale solar parks. This organization is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join their team and contribute to delivering their German project pipeline.

With a strong presence across Europe and an impressive portfolio of successfully completed projects, the company is deeply committed to advancing the energy transition and creating a sustainable future.

Your Key Responsibilities

Design and plan multi-MW solar projects, including layout design, cable calculations, and electrical system design (low, medium, and high voltage).
Act as the technical interface between development teams, external service providers, authorities, and landowners.
Conduct energy yield simulations and technical assessments to optimize project performance.
Ensure compliance with grid connection standards and prepare all necessary technical documentation.
Manage the approval process for detailed designs and drawings from third-party engineering firms.
Support a multidisciplinary project team, providing guidance to junior engineers and ensuring successful project execution.
Assist with technical coordination, time scheduling, and budget planning for project management.

Your Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and developing utility-scale solar projects, including construction exposure.

Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVSyst, PV Case).

Strong understanding of international and local technical standards (e.g., IEC, VDE) and grid connection requirements.

Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
