Lab Coordinator Analytic Center (f / m / d)

For our Global Research & Development and Innovatio n department (Global R&D and I) we are seeking to recruit a Lab Coordinator Analytic Center (f / m / d).

The position will be located in Leimen (near Heidelberg), Germany, and directly report to the position Head of Analytic Center.

The Analytic Center (ANC) as part of GRDI is the central R&D laboratory of the Heidelberg Materials AG and provides high level-support to cutting edge research projects, to plants and operational excellence teams . ANC consists of a pool of experts in the teams of chemistry, mineralogy and performance and application .

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE

Coordinate all lab activities in close collaboration with the team leaders of the lab

Act as sparring partner for our experts to identify the right analytical approach for individual R&D targets or production challenges

Drive the digitalization of the laboratory to improve our services

Take responsibility for continuous improvement processes within our team

Strengthen our commitment to quality in internal and external audits

YOUR PROFILE

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in material science, chemistry, process technology or equivalent

3+ years of professional experience in related industries or academia

Capable to consider the pros and cons of different technical or analytical approaches based on effort vs. value

High social competence and excellent team spirit, intercultural awareness

Strong organizational and self-management skills

Speak English fluently and have good German skills
