Senior AI Engineer - Interior, Infotainment and Digital Experience (m/f/d)

As the Predevelopment Department for the "Interior, Infotainment and Digital Experience domain, we work on tomorrow’s functions and services which leverage our customers experiences with simple and empathic solutions.
We strive for inspiring, exciting and fascinating experiences, all that by learning and predicting the customer needs.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop and deploy top-notch AI (NLP, GenAI, Computer Vision) use cases in the area of car infotainment
- Drive new pre-development topics
- Explore and evaluate new technologies, adapt them to enhance or revolutionize customer features
- Work on projects with experts from other knowledge domains like UX / UI
- Align with stakeholders and strong exchange with series development departments
- Be part of a skilled AI team, learn together and develop projects internally
WHO YOU ARE
- Technical degree (for example computer sciences, AI, machine learning) or similar qualification with job experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in applied ML / AI
- Strong understanding of GenAI, NLP and Computer Vision techniques
- Professional experience with applying LLMs to real-world use cases, experience with model quantization techniques and applying LLMs on embedded devices is a plus
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch and TensorFlow
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI / CD practices, including Docker, Jenkins, and Git as well as understanding of cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure is a plus
- Excellent English skills, German communication skills are a plus
