We're looking for an European Business Head for a Chinese B2B E-commerce Platform

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced European Business Head to lead the expansion of B2B e-commerce platform in Europe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internet platform business or e-commerce, with proven capabilities in localization, building businesses from the ground up (0-1), and strategic thinking. This role will be instrumental in shaping growth trajectory in the European market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Development
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to penetrate and grow the European market.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, leveraging local market insights and trends.
  • Team Leadership
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Business Operations
  • Oversee all aspects of the platform’s operations in Europe, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business objectives and drive operational excellence.
  • Client Relations
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Strategic Planning
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve long-term business goals.
  • Conduct market analysis to inform decision-making and stay ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in internet platform business or e-commerce, preferably in a B2B context.
  • Demonstrated success in launching and scaling new business ventures (0-1 experience).
  • Experience in managing and leading teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Language Skills
  • Fluent in English and Chinese, with the ability to use both languages as working languages.
  • Technical Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, and related technologies.
