The Sales Director will be a key stakeholder in our European business team and will be responsible for driving the sales performance, achieving revenue targets and contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the business with Europe.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Identify and maximise new business development opportunities and sales channels in Europe to establish a market position in protection plans for consumer electronics, appliances, home repair, and other segments
  • Proactively prospect and win new accounts, building out a strong funnel
  • Develop and execute sales plans and profit targets to contribute to business goals
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with new and existing customers
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Identify and report on business opportunities in target markets

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of proven previous experience within a Sales position, meeting and exceeding targets
  • Previous experience and knowledge within a similar position in the Insurance industry is essential and knowledge / network within our target segments : consumer electronics retailers & OEMs, Utility providers (Gas & Electricity), Banks / Bancassurance, Telcos & Internet service providers, InsurTech, Platform, APIs & Integrations
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels, including executive and C-level
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
