What you can expect

As an IT Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and implementation of national and Europe-wide IT procurement and award procedures. Among other things, you will monitor the market and independently carry out legally compliant procurements. You will also take on coordination and controlling tasks in IT projects and be responsible for supporting external service providers. In your role, you will work closely with the manager and support them in the successful implementation of their tasks.

You have

  • a successfully completed university degree in law, economics or business administration, or
  • a successfully passed professional examination II or
  • the career qualification for the third qualification level of the administration and finance career path for the specialist areas of non-technical administrative service and economics
  • Applicants who are already civil servants with another employer can only be considered by way of transfer or secondment.

    In particular, you must have

  • Specialist knowledge of the provisions of procurement and contract law (e.g. procurement regulations, VgV, UVgO, BGB) as well as basic knowledge of supplier management and market analysis
  • Communication skills, in particular situational awareness and negotiation skills
  • Result and goal orientation
  • Of advantage are

  • Experience in the project management office (classic and agile projects)
  • Experience in the use of EVB-IT contract templates including associated general terms and conditions
