The Regional Sales Manager Germany is responsiblefor growth and expansion of Germany sales within a specificregional subset covering 4-5 territories; meeting and exceedingassigned sales targets through the direct management of specificaccounts and through the management of a specific sales team formedby Territory Managers and maintaining a specific focus on marginsand profitability according to the company salespolicy.

The incumber performs his job fully incompliance with Danaher Code of Conduct and Danaher Core Behaviors,working closely with other functions such as Marketing, FieldApplication Specialists, Customer Service, and others to identifysynergies and appropriate strategies, and ensuregrowth.

There are various career opportunities inthis role within and outside Commercial functions in Cepheid andother companies under the DanaherCorporation.

The position reports to the CountryManager, is part of the German Sales Team, and is remote.

In this role,you will :

Team withthe General Manager and the other relevant stakeholders to applyand coordinate proper sales activities to achieve and exceed thetargets; maximize business opportunities and grows revenue acrossthe productportfolio

Maintain margins,profitability, prices, and system productivity according to companyguidelines andpolicies

Develop thebusiness through the coordination of specific regional events incollaboration withMarketing

Promote menuutilization and expansion in existing accounts; increase theinstalled base and the market penetration in newsegments

Learn, implement,execute and sustain tactical plans based on Danaher Business System(DBS) tools including Action Planning, Funnel management, GrowthRoom and DailyManagement

Lead and coachyour team members on the best implementation of the sales tools anddriving strategies to overcomechallenges

Design TerritoryPlans and assign targets to each team member, measuring theprogression and the achievement during the year; contribute toforecasts, deliver monthly reports and quarterly sales planupdates

The essential requirements of the jobinclude :

Bachelor's degreewith more than 5 years or Master's degree with more than 3 years ofrelevant experience

Abilityto set daily priorities for him / herself and forthe Team, to coordinate resources and to apply operational business practices to meetoperational objectives, to constructively collaboratecross-functionally with otherstakeholders

Ability to usejudgment to identify, troubleshoot and resolve day-to-dayoperational problems, and readiness to be a “hands-on”leader

Strong communication skills in order to explainstrategy and tactics to the Team, convey performance expectationsand manage with clear goals andexpectations.

Strong abilityto presents strategies, projects, sales data and performance to theupper management with confidence and analyticalapproach

Ability to plan,prioritise and deliver a revenue number including finding growthopportunities through both existing business and NewLand.

Fluent in German andEnglish is a must, previous people management isdesirable
