What You'll Do :
As the Regional Sales Manager, you will lead customer relationship management efforts and develops new customers for STS (Specialty Treatment Solutions). Focus on new wastewater treatment systems for California wine industry.
Requirements
Education :
Bachelor’s Degree (four-year college or technical school) with major coursework in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field is required. Relevant experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
Industry Knowledge :
Wastewater Treatment : In-depth understanding of wastewater treatment processes, technologies, and regulatory requirements. Winery Operations : Familiarity with winery operations, including the types of waste generated and the specific challenges related to winery wastewater.
Technical Expertise :
Treatment Technologies : Knowledge of different wastewater treatment technologies (e.g., biological treatment, filtration, chemical treatment) and their applications in wineries. System Design : Ability to understand and discuss system design, installation, and maintenance with clients and technical teams. Environmental Regulations : Awareness of local, state, and federal regulations regarding wastewater discharge and treatment in the winery industry.
Sales Experience :
3 Years of experience in sale of industrial equipment is required. Direct experience with the California wine industry is preferred. Sales Strategy : Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies tailored to the wastewater treatment market. Technical Sales : Proficiency in technical sales, including the ability to explain complex systems and solutions to non-technical clients. B2B Sales : Experience in business-to-business sales, particularly in selling high-value, technical products and solutions.
Customer Service :
Client Management : Strong skills in managing client relationships, understanding their needs, and providing customized solutions. Post-Sales Support : Providing ongoing support to clients, including system troubleshooting, upgrades, and maintenance advice.
Business Acumen :
Market Analysis : Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and understand competitive dynamics. Budget Management : Experience in managing sales budgets, forecasting sales performance, and achieving financial targets.
Communication Skills :
Interpersonal Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and collaborate with internal teams. Presentation Skills : Ability to deliver clear and persuasive presentations and product demonstrations to diverse audiences.
Computer Skills :
Intermediate Computer Knowledge : Able to create, use, navigate and perform reports at an Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Job Specific Software : Basic ability to create, use and retrieve project related information from ERP systems, Product Configurator software, CRM software
Other Requirements :
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Must have motivational skills and a strong sense of urgency to meet Customer commitments in a timely and "above expectations" manner. This position requires an energetic, self-starter who can manage travel and work in remote locations autonomously.

Salary Description $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
